Upper Lonsdale is the elevated residential neighbourhood above the Lonsdale Avenue commercial corridor in North Vancouver, occupying the mid-to-upper slopes between roughly 20th and 30th Streets. The area provides the best of both worlds: the views and quiet of an upper-slope address combined with easy walking or driving access to Lonsdale Avenue's growing amenity base below.

Sutherland Secondary, one of North Vancouver's well-regarded public high schools, defines the neighbourhood's school catchment and draws families who want a strong secondary school without paying the premium of the Handsworth catchment. Elementary schools in the area include Windsor Park Elementary and others along the upper Lonsdale corridor.
